OUR STORY
Made in Gallows Hill, Salem, Ma. Shaped by Fire. Made Meaningful by You.
Salem Glass Witch Balls began at North Shore Glass School in Salem, Massachusetts, where artists work with fire and molten glass to create pieces by hand.
Our idea was simple: to give the traditional Witch Ball a place in today’s home as a meaningful object shaped by craftsmanship and personal intention.
A Tradition, Made in Salem
Salem is a place where history, folklore and personal belief have long existed side by side.
Inspired by that character, we created a collection of Salem-made Witch Balls that can be chosen for their meaning, given as thoughtful gifts or enjoyed simply as original glass art.
Each design brings together three colors and a set of intentions. What those colors mean, however, is ultimately personal.
No Two Are Ever the Same
Every Salem Glass Witch Ball is shaped individually by a glass artist.
The glass is gathered, colored and shaped while hot, creating the interior strands and patterns that make each piece unique. Your Witch Ball will feature its signature colors, but it will never be identical to another—or to the piece shown in a photograph.
That individuality is part of its story. The rest begins when it becomes part of yours.

Choose What It Means to You
You may see your Witch Ball as a personal symbol, a reminder of an intention, a meaningful gift or a one-of-a-kind piece of Salem-made glass art.
There is no single way to connect with it.
